Make Your Own Monthly Kit | Planning with Debbie Pettit

Did you know that we offer "make your own" monthly kits in 3 different sizes just for people that don't use one of our brand specific planners (Erin Condren, Happy Planner, etc) ? We offer 5 kits each month; the first 2 are full kits and have brand specific monthly sheet options while the last 3 are "mini-kits" and do not have the brand specific monthly sheets available. If you use a planner we don't offer specific monthly sheets for OR you fall in love with the designs and patterns of mini-kit, our "make your own monthly" make it possible to have a monthly spread in a pattern you love most from the month!

Debbie is sharing how she used one of our February mini-kits make your own monthly sheets in her Erin Condren Life Planner. If you know Debbie, you'll know this kit matches her personality perfectly; bright and fun and full of color!

Debbie used the following sheets for her setup this month:

Our make your own monthly sheets are available in A5, 7x9, and 8.5x11 sizes, so you can grab just the size you need. Debbie is using a 7x9 kit, here.

The other great thing about our make your own monthly kits is that they are NOT month specific. You'll see here that the monthly headers are pattern only with no month label printed on them. This means when you find the kit you love, you can use it any month you want!

We do suggest adding our monthly script sheet so you can add your own month heading.

Here's the process Debbie used:

It’s really so easy to make your monthly calendar look exactly how you want it, whether in a notebook or planner. In this example I’ve dressed up a Canvas design in my 7x9 Monthly planner from Erin Condren.

First you’ll want to place the Thick Washi at the top of both pages.

Next add the solid thin washi strip. Once this is down, you have the option of choosing your start date for the weeks (Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday if you like!)

Fill in the days and date dots. Add your label stickers to highlight birthdays, appointments, and key events or whatever you track!

I like using the coordinating washi along the edge of the sticker sheet or the wavy stickers to signify events lasting more than a day.

Enjoy making your calendar your own!

Happy Planning!
